Syllabus

• Mathematics: Data Interpretation, Profit, Loss & Discount, Speed, Time & Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Geometry, Time and Work, Percentage, etc.

• Reasoning: Alphabet series, Number series, Coding-Decoding, Venn Diagram, Syllogism, etc.

• General Awareness: Current Affairs Static GK, Polity and Constitution, History, Geography, Art and Culture, etc.

Eligible for Exam:

** RRB group D :

• Age Limit: 18 to 33 years

• Educational Qualification: The minimum education qualification for candidates applying to the technical departments is Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Signal & Telecom departments) and catering wing of Railways will be a Class 10 pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by National Council for Vocational Training or a Class 10 pass plus ITI.

** RRB NTPC :

• Age Limit: The age limit for the undergraduate post is 18 to 30 years. The age limit for the graduate post is 18 to 33 years.

• Educational Qualification:

- For undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed Class 12

- For graduate posts, candidates must have passed the graduation

** RRB JE :

• Age Limit: 18 to 33 years

• Educational Qualification :

JE Post: An applicant must have three years Diploma in Civil Engineering/Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile / Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Control/ Tools & Machining/ Tools & Die Making/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering from a Recognized University/Institute.

DMS: Applicants need to complete a three-year Diploma in Engineering from any govt. recognized university or equivalent.

JE (IT): Candidates must have PGDCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCA/ B.Tech. (Information Technology)/ B.Tech. (Computer Science)/ DOEACC ‘B’ level course of three years duration or equivalent.

CMA: Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 55 per cent marks

** RRB ALP :

• Age Limit: 18 to 28 years.

• Educational Qualification:

ALP: Must have passed Class 10/SSLC & ITI/Course Completed Act Apprentices or Diploma/Degree in Engineering.

Technician: Completed Class 10/SSLC plus ITI/ Course Completed Act Apprentices or 10+2 with Physics and Maths or Diploma in Engineering

Procedure :

** RRB Registration

Visit the official websites of RRBs.Select the railway to which you wish to apply.Confirm that you have read and understood the instructions clearly by clicking the checkbox.Click on ‘New Registration’.Enter name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar Number, SSLC/Matric Registration Number, Year of passing, mobile number, and email ID.Candidates with ITI/NAC qualifications can enter their registration number/year of passing for ITI/NAC qualification instead of SSLC/Matric.Before submitting the registration form, ensure and confirm that all the information is correct since it cannot be changed later.The email ID used for registration must be unique.Verification of Email ID and Mobile Number through OTP.On submitting the primary details, the registration number and password are displayed.OTPs are also sent to the registered mobile number and email along with the registration details.Candidates need to enter the OTP to proceed to fill out the application form and make fee payment.Candidates can proceed with the online application by clicking on the ‘Already Registered’ button on the home page using the registration number and password.

** Filling out the Application Form

In Part 1 of the application page, provide the details of educational qualification, community UR/OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, Gender, Religion, Ex-SM, PwBD, CCAA, Minority, Economically Backward, Class and Age Relaxation eligibility category as applicable and other details.In Part 2 of the application page, candidates need to indicate his/her priority/preference for the posts Payment and Bank Account Details.On completion of application details, candidates will be redirected to the payment page.Choose the payment mode - Bank (Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan) or Post Office Challans and complete the payment.Those who opt for payment through offline mode should note that the payment confirmation may take two hours. Therefore, they need to again login after two hours for confirmation of payment status. The time period for payment confirmation varies from 24 hours to 48 hours in the case of Post Office payment.

Documents:

• * Photograph and Signature Upload

• * Candidates will be automatically directed to the ‘upload the photo and signature

• * Select the 'Upload Photo Tab' and upload your colour photograph

• * The photograph should be of size 35mmX45mm or 320 x 240 pixels

• * It should be in JPG/JPEG format scanned with 100 DPI resolution

• * The size of the photograph should be between 20-50KB

• * The signature should be in JPG/JPEG format scanned with 100 DPI resolution

• * Dimensions of 50mmx20mm or 140x60 pixels are preferred

• * Size of the file should be between 10KB-40KB
